Osman Lamin Kamara

Osman Lamin Kamara is the managing director of IOY Foundation, He is passionate about advancing healthcare access, promoting equity in education, and improving nutritional outcomes for underserved communities. His journey began with a strong educational foundation, earning a bachelor’s in business administration from Saint Leo University, Saint Leo, Florida, Master’s in Heath Care Management from Trident University, Cypress, California, and a master’s in business administration from Trident University, Cypress, California.
These degrees equipped him with the necessary skills to lead complex healthcare, quality education, and nutritional initiatives effectively.

Before his current role, he dedicated 22 years to the United States Navy as a Chief Logistics Specialist, which included several overseas assignments. This experience not only enhanced his expertise in resource management and operational efficiency but also provided him with a unique perspective on the challenges faced by diverse populations in accessing essential services.

As managing director of IOY Foundation, he oversees strategic planning, program development, and community engagement efforts.

His key responsibilities include leading initiatives that address healthcare disparities and nutritional education, such as the “Healthy Communities Program,” which has positively impacted thousands of families by providing essential resources and support.
He takes great pride in his contributions to improving health, nutrition, and education within communities. Through collaborations with local schools and community organizations, He have worked to integrate health education into curricula, empowering students with the knowledge to lead healthier lives and equality education. His military background instilled in him a strong commitment to service and leadership, and I strive to continue making a meaningful impact in the health, nutrition, and education sectors.
